Now Hiring: Pool Service Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning: Skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and emptying skimmer/pump baskets.
- Chemical Balancing: Testing and adjusting pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, etc.) to maintain safe and healthy levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing pool pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other equipment.
- Reporting Repairs: Reporting leaks and parts needing repairs or replacement on pool components.
- Customer Service: Interacting with clients, addressing concerns, and providing excellent service.
- Safety: Ensuring safe practices, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment, according to Health Department Guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining logs of service visits, chemical readings, and repairs.
- Inventory Management: Reporting chemicals to be ordered and signing out supplies of chemicals and parts.
- Flexibility: Working outdoors in various weather conditions and potentially on weekends or holidays.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of pool equipment, maintenance procedures, basic plumbing and electrical work.
- Chemical Handling: Understanding pool chemicals and how to safely handle and balance them.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with pool systems.
- Valid Driver’s License: Valid and current driver’s license needed along with the ability to qualify for our company auto insurance. (No on record DUI’s, etc.)
- Certification (Optional): Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Certified Aquatic Facility Operator (CAFO) certifications are required to service commercial pools.
- Experience: Preferred but not required. Willing to train the right applicant if needed.

Now Hiring: Irrigation Technician
Maintenance and Repair:
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and resolve issues with irrigation systems, including leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning components.
- Component Replacement: Replace faulty parts i.e.: valves, sprinkler heads, and timers.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, clean sprinkler heads, and adjust watering schedules.
- Winterization: Prepare systems for winter by draining pipes and protecting components from freezing.
- Backflow Prevention: Install and maintain backflow prevention devices to ensure water quality.
Water Management:
- Soil and Vegetation Analysis: Assess soil conditions and plant types to determine appropriate watering needs.
- Watering Schedule Optimization: Develop and adjust watering schedules to maximize efficiency and conserve water.
- Water Usage Monitoring: Track water consumption and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local water regulations and restrictions.
Installation:
- System Design and Layout: Read and interpret blueprints and site maps to plan irrigation system installations.
- Trenching and Piping: Dig trenches and install pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads.
- Pump and Timer Installation: Install and connect pumps, electrical timers, and other essential components.
Other Important Skills:
- Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating various tools and equipment, including trenchers and other specialized machinery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system performance.
- Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to explain system operation and address concerns.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members and potentially supervise junior technicians.

Core Responsibilities:
- Lawn Care: Mowing, hard and soft edging, line trimming and backpack blowing.
- Pruning and Trimming: Trimming hedges, shrubs, and trees to maintain their shape and health.
- Planting and Maintenance: Planting and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and trees, including watering, fertilizing, and reporting pest/disease control.
- Irrigation: Identifying and reporting dry or overwatered turf areas and plants.
- Hardscape Maintenance: Maintaining features like walkways, patios, and retaining walls.
- Pest and Disease Control: Identifying and reporting landscape pests and diseases to management.
- Soil Management: Preparing soil, applying amendments, and ensuring proper drainage.
- Operating Equipment: Safely operating various landscaping tools and equipment.
- Following Designs: Implementing landscape designs and plans.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining records of maintenance activities, inventory, and schedules.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Landscape Design: Assisting with the development of landscape designs.
- Project Management: Overseeing landscaping projects and coordinating with other team members.
- Client Communication: Communicating with clients about project progress and maintenance recommendations.
- Safety Compliance: Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
